FAB is a group of Maine high schoolers (9th-12th grade) from around the state who are passionate about gender equity and social justice. Members plan and execute the Girls Rock! Conferences, do community outreach and education, maintain a social media presence, and work closely with the Board of Directors and staff to make sure that all Hardy Girls programs remain relevant. Maine's 130th legislature passed a bill, sponsored by Senator Matthew Pouliot, to create a pilot program that provides grants that support computer science professional development in Maine school districts! This pilot program will award grants for the provision of high-quality, teacher-developed or teacher-led professional development for PK-12 computer science pedagogy and content.
